Rubber Calendering

The calender is a machine used to form rubber sheet into various thicknesses, widths and lengths. This machine consist of three large rolls which can be run at various speeds and temperatures.

Roll Speed

The roll speeds are interrelated by connecting gear ratio with a single motor drive.

Temperature Control

Roll temperature control is accomplished by circulating steam or chilled water through the cored rolls. Knowledge of each rubber compound is essential to ensure proper performance from the calender.

Calendering Abilities

Mosites calenders rubber into a number of standard roll thicknesses and widths. We maintain a very large inventory of various widths and thickness of silicone and fluoroelastomer products. Custom calendered sheets are available at customer request.
