Mosites # 14324 is a 40 durometer, high strength silicone compound with a platinum catalyst cure system. It is a transparent elastomer with excellent elongation properties and low modulus values, which make it an ideal choice for deep, draw vacuum applications. Uncured sheet is offered in widths up to 54 inches. Cured, however is available in standard widths up to 72 inches and custom fabricated vacuum blankets much larger, quoted upon request. The product has a service temperature range of -100°F to + 400°F.
The physical properties shown below were obtained on 0.080-inch thick molded ASTM samples. They are typical of Mosites # 14324 silicone rubber compound, but they should not be used to set Quality Control Specification minimum requirements.
Important note: Mosites #14324 uncured must be transported and stored in temperatures between 0° F and 40° F.
